One of the biggest festivals of Amorgos takes place every year in Panagia Epanochoriani. On the eve and the day of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, free food and wine or raki are offered to the people.
On August 14, the evening prayer takes place, followed by a fasting meal. Many locals of all ages gather at the monastery’s dining area to prepare the food for the next day.
In the evening of the same day, during the established feast the place fills with melodies of traditional instruments, such as the violin and the lute, by local instrumentalists at the central square of Laghada village.

Jedan od najvećih festivala Amorgosa održava se svake godine u Panagia Epanochoriani. Uoči i na dan Velike Gospojine, narodu se nudi besplatna hrana i vino ili rakija. 14. avgusta je večernja molitva, nakon čega sledi posna trpeza. Mnogi meštani svih uzrasta okupljaju se u trpezariji manastira kako bi pripremili hranu za sledeći dan.
Uveče istog dana, tokom ustanovljene gozbe, mesto se ispunjava melodijama tradicionalnih instrumenata, poput violine i laute, lokalnih instrumentalista na centralnom trgu sela Lagada.
